The District 7080 Rotary Foundation Committee
 
District Rotary Foundation Chair (DRFC)
The chair is responsible for the overall management of the committee.
This Rotarian is the committee’s representative on the District 7080 Council.
 
Secretary
The secretary is responsible for keeping minutes for all Foundation Committee meetings, correspondence to District Clubs on Foundation matters and other duties involving communication and engagement between the committee and clubs in the District.
 
Foundation Area Coordinators (FACs)
There should be enough FACs on the committee to allow them to act as a meaningful resources to the Club Clusters in the District.
FACs are responsible for motivating clubs to focus on The Rotary Foundation both in terms of Contributions to the Foundation but also in terms of participating in District and Global Grants.
 
Grants Committee
The Grants Committee should consist of a Chair and at least 3 committee members.
The committee is responsible to advise and assist clubs in the application process of all grants.
It is also responsible to review District Grants submitted on the District Grants Module to ensure that all grant criteria as set out in District and Foundation policies are being respected. The committee recommends to the DRFC and the District Governor as to when a Grant is ready for their approval.
 
Peace Scholarship Committee
The Peace Scholarship Committee should consist of a Chair and at least 1 other Rotarian.
The committee is responsible to promote the Peace Scholarship opportunities to District Clubs through the FAC’s. It is also responsible to assist clubs in the application and review process as they nominate Peace Scholarship candidates.
 
Polio Plus Chair
The Polio Plus Chair is responsible for keeping the clubs informed as to the progress of the Polio Plus program of Rotary in terms of levels of infection throughout the world, significant developments in fundraising and National Immunization Campaigns. The chair is also responsible for motivating Rotarians and Clubs to stay involved in the Polio Plus program through Donations, Advocacy and Participation in Eradication.
 
Annual Fund Chair
The Annual Fund Chair is responsible to motivate, through the FACs, all clubs and Rotarians in the District to contribute to The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund. This will ensure future funds being available for District and Global Grants in future years.
This Rotarian is responsible to report to the District Foundation Committee the progress in donations as the year progresses.
 
Endowment Fund Chair
The Endowment Fund Chair is responsible to motivate Rotarians in the District to contribute to The Rotary Foundation’s Endowment Fund. These donations involve Major Donor, Benefactor, Bequest Society and Arch Klumph Society involvement. This Rotarian is responsible to report to the District Foundation Committee the progress in donations as the year progresses.
 
Paul Harris Society Chair
The Paul Harris Foundation Chair is responsible to encourage and enroll Rotarians in the District to become members of the Paul Harris Society. This Rotarian is responsible to report to the District Foundation Committee the current status and progress in expanding the Paul Harris Society.
