A beautiful day in Brampton for children with special needs

On Sunday, July 10, 2022, the Rotary Club of Brampton held a summer picnic for children with special needs, in association with Easter Seals, Kerry’s Place and Erin Oaks Kids.

The children were entertained on the grounds of the Brampton Rotary Club’s Rotary Glen Hall with a clown doing face painting and sculpting balloon animals for the kids and their siblings.

The children and their reluctant parents, participated in a talent contest showcasing their dancing abilities with music from a D.J., and the prompting of our Master of Ceremonies.

During the festivities, the children received treats from an Ice Cream truck, drinks and a pizza lunch.

All the children received two presents from a prize table at the end of the party.

This is the first such Children’s event that the Rotary Club of Brampton has held since 2019 given Covid.  We are looking forward to this marking a return to the club’s record of engaging  with special needs children in the community.
