We are looking for candidates to apply for the position of GSE Team Leader to lead a team to District 4340 in Chile from March 19th to April 19th 2011. The selection session will be held on Wednesday, August 4th in Cambridge from 6 - 9:30 p.m.
Welcome to the District 7080 Group Study Exchange (GSE) program information. For those who may not know much about this program, each year the District hosts an inbound team of young professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 from a paired district around the world on a 4 or 5 week vocational and cultural exchange. Recent GSE exchanges have been arranged with Korea, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, New Zealand and Argentina. In turn, we select an outbound team consisting of a Rotarian Team Leader and a group of four non-Rotarians, who have been employed in their profession for at least 2 years, to undertake a reciprocal exchange. This year we will be hosting a team from District 4340 in Chile from September 19th to October 19th, 2010. Our outbound team will be venturing to Chile from March 19th to April 19th, 2011. Selection of the Rotarian Team Leader will take place on Wednesday, August 4th while interviews for the outbound team members will take place in late August. Please spread the word and identify some potential candidates for this program, which many consider to be one of the best on offer by Rotary International. More information about applying for the role of Team Leader can be found on www.rotary.org or by contacting Randy Seager, Chair, District 7080 GSE Committee by emailing randy.seager@rogers.com
