As Rotarians, we all follow the motto “Service Above Self”. However District 7080 District also feels it is important to recognize outstanding contributions that are quietly and selflessly made by dedicated Rotarians and Rotary Partners who go above and beyond. That is why the D7080 District Awards were created.
Nominations are now open for District recognition in the following areas:
- District Service to recognize service through Rotary Foundation programs and projects
- Club Builders who make a significant impact in supporting and strengthening their home Rotary club
- Rotary Partners who work tirelessly to support Rotary causes, projects and/or the Rotary Foundation
- District Polio Service for outstanding active personal service in advocacy and hands on support of End Polio Now
- Communications and Marketing for outstanding communications and marketing of club news and projects by a club, individual or committee
- Club Innovation Award for a Rotarian or Rotary club which has been particularly innovative in their approach to growth, responsiveness, reach and impact
The District Awards nomination deadline this year is March 31, 2021. Anyone can nominate a District Rotarian, committee, club or partner. The District Awards will be presented as part of the virtual 7080 District Conference scheduled for May 29, 2021.
