Creating a Warm Winter for All

Our club launched its first campaign of the year, “Creating a Warm Winter for All,” a winter clothing drive aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals at the Bridges community shelter.

Through outreach across workplaces, campuses, and community networks, members mobilized their spheres of influence to collect winter coats, gloves, scarves, and other cold-weather essentials. The initiative not only provided critical support during the harshest months of the year, but also strengthened partnerships with local organizations to ensure donations were distributed where they were needed most. A special mention to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, who enthusiastically responded to our call for donations by dropping them off at the various drop sites allocated to us by local management.

In total we received:

43 Jackets and sweaters

50 Pairs of socks

20 Beanies and hats

20 pairs of gloves

10 Blankets

Engaging the Next Generation at Conestoga College

In addition to community service, the club has taken proactive steps to strengthen and grow Rotaract locally. Members hosted a recruitment and awareness booth at Conestoga College, engaging directly with students to share the mission and impact of Rotaract.
