Rotary District 7080 shares an interest in protecting our common legacy: the Environment.
We invite our members to support activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment.

In a recent national poll, over half of Canadians indicated their belief that climate change will not hurt them personally.  That is concerning, with all the scientific facts that call out the severe risk of climate change that faces every country on earth.

There are over one million Rotarians globally.  Rotarians see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.  If every Rotarian would pledge to take action to help protect the planet in the things we do every day, we could make a significant impact.  If we in turn, inspired a few others to do the same and they likewise, we could foreseeably influence over one billion people.  Now, that would make a massive difference and that is Rotary!

To that end, we encourage members of District 7080 to lead by example and take immediate action to protect the planet by taking the District 7080 Environment Pledge.  No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.  Thank you!
