One of the benefits of moving Zoom meetings has been the ability to attract new and different speakers to our clubs.  Many clubs are making the most of Zoom by connecting with speakers from outside their communities. Clubs have also tapped new presenters from within their community who now have the time to present due to the restrictions that COVID-19 has placed on other parts of their lives. (Lots of FREE time!)

It’s time to share the power of Zoom. Starting in January we will dedicate a portion of this bulletin to promoting noteworthy speakers that will be presenting at our clubs in the coming months. If you want more guests at your meetings, and a bigger audience for your speakers, here’s what we need from you:

By the 25th of each month please email the following info to:  connects@rotary7080.org

  • Your speaker’s name and title
  • Their topic
  • The date & time they will present
  • The maximum number of Zoom guests your club can accommodate
  • A link that YOU create that will allow fellow Rotarians into your club’s Zoom meeting
Each club has total discretion over who will be admitted to their meetings and how admission will be granted.  It's up to each individual club to organize this.

We are not looking for a laundry list of all your speakers, just those that you feel could be of interest to fellow Rotarians.  Of course, if you have a great speaker but want to keep them to yourselves that’s OK too.
