On September 21st 2026, the UN International Day of Peace, Rotarians from the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga, Mississauga West, Mississauga Meadowvale, and Mississauga Streetsville along with AG Narciso, gathered at the Rotary Peace Corner to talk about peace.
We are reminded that peace is not merely an idea or an aspiration.
It is something each of us can carry into the world through our words, our actions and the way we treat one another.
The words on the peace pole - May Peace Prevail on Earth - are a simple prayer, but also a powerful intention.
May peace prevail not only between nations, but within our communities, our homes and within each of us.
