A community challenge to support youth training and spread awareness on safe drinking water.

The Rotary Club of Bolton recently ran a challenge to the community to donate to  Water First Training and Education Drinking Water Internship.  A 15-month paid internship for young Indigenous adults to be trained as Water Operators. We are thrilled with the $9901. that has been donated and will be matched by our club, district and Rotary International.  Individuals, schools, Social Justice classes, golfers, seniors, other clubs…so many came forward with generous donations.  This brought awareness to the plight of safe drinking water in our Indigenous communities and the power of Rotary to take action.  Thank you to everyone for your heartfelt support and involvement.
