Brenda Halloran

Our District Governor for 2023-2024 is Brenda Halloran of the Rotary Club of Waterloo.

 

Brenda has been involved with the Waterloo Club since 2006 as an honourary member till 2014 and then became a regular member in 2015. She was the President of her club in 2019-2020.

 

Brenda was the Mayor of Waterloo from 2006–2014 and during this time she collaborated with the Waterloo Club to hold the Mayor’s Annual State of the City Breakfast. This was a fundraiser and large community event showcasing the club and promoting Rotary.

 

She has been presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for her service to the community. 

 

Brenda has been actively involved with committee’s and fundraising events within her club. During her time as President, she worked with the other KW Cluster Presidents to create the Rotary Clubs of KW, Catch the Ace Lottery.

 

She is a consultant, sits on several community boards, is the Chair of Startup Canada and a wedding officiant.

 

Brenda is married to Fred Brandenburg who is a Rotarian and Past President of the Waterloo Club.
