What Is Interact

Interact is a club for youth ages 12-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school.

They can be school based or community based. All of the current active Interact clubs in Rotary District 7080 are school based.

There are many service clubs in high schools but there is something unique about Interact clubs: they are part of the Rotary family, they are sponsored by a local Rotary Club so there is a Rotarian from that club assigned as the Rotary Advisors. In addition, there are more than 14,000 Interact clubs in the world that are connected through Rotary International.

Interact clubs have an executive team that is elected every year and members from Grade 9 to 12. Being part of the Executive team provides an opportunity to learn leadership skills and have an active role in organizing activities to support the community. Activities include fundraisers, visits to senior residences, volunteer shifts at local charity organizations and much more.
