The Rotary Online Auction – Two Decades of Fundraising Success
The Rotary Online Auction is back again this year.
This is a combined effort among several Southwestern Ontario Rotary clubs including:
- Rotary Club of Oakville,
- Oakville Trafalgar,
- Burlington North,
- Kitchener,
- Caledon,
- Milton,
- Mississauga and
- Cambridge Preston-Hespeler
The Rotary Online Auction has raised over $1 million dollars in the past 9 years. All proceeds have been used to support projects and charities that benefit local and international communities.
The 2025 auction proved to be another massive success. The collaborating clubs raised an impressive $113,942, with those funds being shared amongst the clubs to support their local community initiatives and international projects.
The event saw high engagement across the district:
- There were 807 registered bidders.
- A total of 6,706 bids were placed.
- 1,531 total items were up for auction
Motivated by past achievements, Rotarians are already setting ambitious goals, challenging themselves to better last year’s results and setting a target of $150,000 to be raised at this year’s auction.
The auction officially begins for online bidding on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST.
Bidding will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will close exactly two weeks later on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 9:00 PM EST.
